Granite
Granite has the benefit of being one of the most durable surfaces you can place on your cabinets. It provides endless design and color options and can even be textured for that extra level of custom appearance. Unlike man made surfaces, it has a timeless and fad protected look as well because it will not become out of date due to new processes and looks like you see in the quartz brands. You can cut on it (but it will dull your knives!) you can put hot pots and pans fresh off the stove on it, and teamed with our 15 year sealer you will not have to worry about staining your surface for years to come! Granite also comes with a lifetime warranty through Rich Murray Granite.
Here is a good portion of some of the granite that is currently available to the granite market at the time. We stock many of these for you to see in person at our Bartonville showroom. We would love to send out a huge thank you to Stone Design in Chicago for providing us with the pictures for your viewing pleasure. We have teamed up with them for decades, and they have always delivered top notch stone slabs for the families we provide our services to!

Quartzite
The look of marble with a durability closer to granite! While quartzite does not provide the exact durability that you will have on granite, it is certainly a step up in durability from marble within the kitchen. Once sealed, we suggest resealing once every year on a quartzite, but it is a process we are more than happy to do for you at a very fair price. Resealing is also a very DIY friendly process that takes less than an hour and little effort to apply.
Marble
What is more timeless than a marble slab? Marble has been around for generations for countertops, sculptures, panels, and several other applications. While it is certainly not the best of products for durability in some areas, if you follow certain guidelines the product will endure generations to come! In fact, a honed marble reacts wonderfully in even the highest of use kitchen applications with the right care and maintenance.
Soapstone
Very soft, but very unique in look. Soapstone has been used in kitchens for years and requires a mineral oil rub to revitalize the look. Just as in sealing, this is a very simple process but bare in mind, this product absolutely will scratch over time.
Don't see something you like?
These images are of current slabs we have on site that are not already owned by another customer. We can work with you to find exactly the stone you want, so do not feel limited. The options are indeed limitless!
